Shirish Kamath I miss being in college and not being in college. More specifically, I miss believing it's my *birthright* to take the entire week off, if it contains more than 2 public holidays. Shirish Kamath I wish there was an auto-protect-from-stupidity flag against all files in addition to r-w-x. And people trying to delete files marked by this flag would get the message, "Are you freakin' crazy?! You cannot delete this file.". That way people would not lose data as a result of fits of stupidity. Maybe all OS's should have a way to prevent deletion of certain files, while still allowing their modification. Maybe.

Shirish Kamath For someone who's seen Microsoft's Windows OS transition from the buggy Windows 98SE to WindowsME to the relatively stable Windows XP and 7, and has learnt to live with the quirks it has to offer, migrating to Ubuntu/Linux is like *changing your religion*. With a whole new set of quirks n issues to deal with, this is surely going to be a bumpy ride... :(.
